500 Words a Day

That's the latest daily system in my "systems over goals" process.

I write 500 words a day, every day, 7 days a week. If I miss a day, I add more words to subsequent days.

I began on September 22nd, and I'm now, today, on day 28.

I will be at 14000 words at some point today, assuming I apply my system.

What are the 500 words a day toward? Well, a novel, if you can believe it. And I'm not sure why you wouldn't.

It's technically in the "romance adventure" genre. Yeah, no shit.

But why not?

And so far, so good.
